"I love this place. It is seriously a hidden gem, tucked away on Leffels in Springfield down a bit past Clark State. I used to eat at El Toro locally for lack of a better Mexican restaurant around. The ambiance and building is beautiful. Everything food-wise I have tried has been fantastic. One of my new favorite Mexican restaurants anywhere, not just Springfield. I love the pinwheels you get in place of chips. The very specific Mexican flavors of ice pops are super fun. If you haven't tried this place yet, you really need to check it out!!"

"First time and loved it! Not a typical Mexican restaurant, in menu & atmosphere. A nice vibe (a step up from a lot of other restaurants in the area). Open spaces for dining. Very clean. They take pride in their authentic Mexican cuisine, and they should. You'll find items that you won't find elsewhere. Staff is helpful & friendly. In lieu of chips & salsa, they provide complimentary basket of chicharrones with a very tasty sauce. I never had chicharrones, they're not my thing. But they're complimentary. Long list of tacos (all served on corn tortillas). I normally go for al pastor but I went with (2) cesina & (2) lengua. Both were very tasty and prepared as authentic Mexican tacos. When ordering, you have to order a minimum of 2, because they're prepared when you order (fresh). I look forward to trying their al pastor in a future visit. If you haven't been here and you love authentic Mexican food (or want to try it), I recommend checking this place out. You won't regret it."

"Delicious and fresh tasting meals. Everything was authentic and I can't stress how fresh everything tasted and looked. Mango water was refreshing, guacamole was the best. My husband guzzled two 32 oz horchatas because it was amazing. His shrimp and steak fajitas were tasty. My quesadillas were great too. Loved everything we tried. Chips were hot, straight out the oil too!"

"I was coming back from the vintage days gathering in Xenia and had the opportunity to have lunch at this restaurant. This is located in the old location of Teaberry's. We were greeted upon entry and seated right away. The store is very clean and well laid out. Everything looks new and fresh. I used the restroom, and it was freshly cleaned and in good condition, which is rare for a men's room. I got a peek in the kitchen area, and it also looked very clean. We got these round crisps and sauce to start the meal. There was just a hint of spice in the sauce. I really like it. We both ended up getting the tacos. I got pork, and my wife got chicken. Both were delicious. The pork filling was full of flavor. It was the best taco I have had in a long time. I really recommend these. I tried the chicken, which was pretty good as well. We got a side of rice. It was fluffy as tasty as well. The service was top shelf. I want to come back for dinner and try some other choices. A+"

"Great experience, They have several sauces that are made in-house from the peppers they grow on the property. You can definitely tell the difference between them and the standard sauces. Trust the chef and go for the marinated meats in the taco. You won't regret it, especially the chipotle chicken. There is a hidden menu, not 100% sure what's on it, but I was told of two items and got to try one. Huaraches - the big open face hand made and seasoned tortilla, which was quite wonderful. ???? - I forgot, but it sounded good when they told me. The main ingredient was a special type of marinated steak. This is my second time visiting and I'll certainly go again. It's a bit of a hidden location, but the food is worth it."

"This place is a gem! Family owned and operated, they make creative and delicious cocktails, and their menu has crafted homemade dishes like their tacos and cubanas. I loved the quesadillas fritas!! Their horchata is perfect, and the birria tacos are the best I've had in Ohio."
